Ramada Beach Resort seeks a warm, professional, and service-oriented Receptionist to join our Front Office team. As the face of the resort, the ideal candidate will handle all front desk operations and assist with administrative coordination to ensure a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
- Manage smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle VIP arrivals and guest preferences with care.
- Provide concierge support, including transportation arrangements and local recommendations.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Front Desk Operations
- Manage and process bookings from various channels (direct, walk-ins, OTAs).
- Monitor room availability and coordinate with revenue and reservations teams.
- Process billing, refunds, and end-of-day financial reports accurately.
- Maintain and update guest profiles in the Property Management System (PMS).
Administrative & Coordination
- Prepare daily reports (arrivals, departures, occupancy, and guest preferences).
- Assist the Front Office Manager in mentoring junior front desk staff.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure timely room readiness and issue resolution.
Communication
- Answer calls and emails professionally, and direct queries appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records and shift handover reports.
- Participate in team briefings and cross-departmental collaborations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar front desk or administrative role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and front desk software/PMS.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
- A diploma or equivalent; hospitality certifications are an added advantage.
