Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Content Creator with strong design capabilities to join our marketing team. You’ll be responsible for developing visually compelling and engaging content across various digital platforms including websites, blogs, social media, and video. If you have a deep interest in the automotive industry and love crafting stories through visuals and words — we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop original, informative, and visually engaging content (written, graphics, and video) related to auto parts, repairs, and vehicle maintenance.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more — including content scheduling and audience engagement.
- Blog Writing: Write blog articles, product reviews, how-to guides, and case studies tailored to our automotive audience.
- Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit compelling videos (short- and long-form) such as product demos, tutorials, and customer stories.
- SEO Optimization: Optimize content using relevant keywords and SEO techniques to drive organic traffic.
- Collaboration: Partner with influencers, collaborators, and internal teams for creative campaigns and content series.
- Market Research: Monitor trends, competitors, and customer insights to improve content strategies.
- Content Strategy: Assist in shaping and executing the overall content and marketing strategy.
- Analytics & Reporting: Measure and report on content performance, engagement, and conversions.
Qualifications
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English and/or Swahili.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience in video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
- Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
- Interest or background in automotive or car culture is a strong plus.
