The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is now accepting applications for the Digital Transformation Internship 2025 under a global call.
This remote internship is open to candidates from all over the world and offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital innovation while contributing to UNDP’s work in sustainable development.

Financial Support
Interns will receive a monthly stipend ranging from $200 to $500, depending on the duty station. Since this is a home-based internship, there are no relocation or travel requirements. The stipend will help cover basic living expenses during the internship period.
Key Responsibilities
Selected interns will work with the Chief Digital Office and contribute to the following areas:
Inclusive Digital Ecosystems
- Support the development of inclusive and rights-based digital infrastructure.
- Assist with research on digital inclusion and public digital goods.
Country Office Support and Capacity Building
- Help with digital and AI readiness assessments.
- Contribute to the development of national digital and AI strategies and training resources.
UNDP Digital Strategy
- Conduct research and contribute to the global positioning of UNDP’s digital leadership.
- Assist in managing digital strategy tools and performance analysis.
Business Operations

Support operational improvements related to procurement, finance, and internal systems.
Thought Leadership and Partnerships
- Research potential collaborators.
- Assist with strategic communications and global engagement.
Product Design and Management

Help design, test, and implement digital products and AI-based tools.
Organizational Transformation and Change Management
- Support internal knowledge sharing.
- Track digital transformation efforts across the organization.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate (Master’s) degree program
- In the final year of a Bachelor’s degree program
- Graduated from a university program within the past year
This internship is open to applicants of all nationalities. Prior experience or interest in digital innovation, technology, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
