We’re looking for a dependable and hard-working Yard Worker to help us keep our property, equipment, and workspaces in shape. This role involves everything from operating machinery to helping move materials around the yard.
If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly, and don’t mind working outdoors in all weather conditions, this might be the job for you.
What You’ll Do
- Operate forklifts, tractors, and other yard equipment to move, load, and unload materials
- Help customers or team members load and unload large or heavy items safely
- Perform general yard maintenance, including cleaning, sweeping, and organizing materials
- Assist with landscaping tasks like trimming bushes, watering plants, and clearing debris
- Conduct basic equipment maintenance such as checking tires, oil levels, and filters
- Support minor repairs or maintenance of tools and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and report hazards or equipment issues immediately
- Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient yard
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or maintenance environment is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical, repetitive tasks
- Comfortable using hand tools and operating heavy equipment, or willing to learn
- Ability to climb ladders and work on uneven or outdoor surfaces
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screening
